These tools will allow New Yorkers to confidently protect themselves, their loved ones, and our city. »
“The user-friendly platform we have developed to help people navigate quarantine and isolation guidance would not be possible without the work and knowledge of our amazing contact tracers,” said Megan Benckert, Director of the Trace Operations Support Team at NYC Test & Trace Corps. “The millions of calls they have made to fellow New Yorkers in times of need have helped us know exactly what information and resources they should have to quarantine or self-isolate safely and comfortably.”

After answering a few short questions, users will receive quarantine or isolation advice specific to their situation. Additionally, they will be directed to the appropriate resources on the Test & Trace Corps COVID-19 Resources page to connect them to any support they may need, including testing, a free hotel room, or meal delivery for safe separation from others, medical treatment, and assistance with time off work to quarantine or self-isolate.
The COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Guidance Tool builds on functionality from an earlier version, released in January, which provided quarantine guidance for those exposed to COVID-19. New Yorkers are encouraged to use the COVID-19 Quarantine and Isolation Guidance Tool if they have tested positive or been exposed to COVID-19, and to visit the resources page on the COVID-19 to learn more about the resources and supports available to them. .
